Example Curriculum
The challenge will unfold across four themed weeks:
Week one: Personal prompts
Begin with the material closest to hand: your memories, experiences, emotions, routines and observations. Explore the rich creative possibilities of your own life and perspective.
Week two: The environment around you
Turn your attention outward, finding inspiration in the spaces, objects and people that make up your everyday world. Learn to observe more closely and transform ordinary details into compelling writing.
Week three: Storytelling and narrative
Focus on the building blocks of stories. These prompts explore elements of narrative and storytelling, offering opportunities to think about character, structure, voice and the way a piece of writing comes together as a whole.
Week four: The Wider World
Expand your field of vision and draw inspiration from beyond your immediate surroundings. Engage with ideas, events, culture and the broader world as sources for creative exploration.
